Sharing users across site installations

Experience level:  Drupal professional Experience type:  Programming / module development Duration:  45 minutes

I was recently tasked with ensuring that a client’s intranet (on a separate subdomain) be accessible by users already logged in to the main site. I researched a number of different methods for this, including OpenID, Bakery, and creative utilization of MySQL shared tables. I’ll be discussing all of the above, and talking about what each is good for. Lots of time for questions on this one, most likely.
